Scott R. Barney Esq. is a graduate of the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland, receiving a Bachelor of Science Degree in 2002.

Mr. Barney received his Juris Doctor from the Shepherd Broad Law Center at NOVA Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, FL in 2005. He has been in the field of plaintiff's personal injury since May of 2003. He has worked for law firms in both Florida and Virginia. In June 2006, he was admitted to practice by the Virginia State Bar.

Mr. Barney worked for the firm Rutter Mills for close to a year handling all types of federal and state injury claims. He recently joined the Firm of Accidental Injury Advocates in Norfolk, VA to continue his injury practice.

Mr. Barney is a member of the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association and has been admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.
